At Josephine Koh Piano Academy, Diploma Piano Lessons are designed for students preparing for diploma examinations offered by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and Trinity College London, or equivalent diploma-level qualifications. Whether you are a performer seeking refinement or a teacher pursuing professional accreditation, lessons are structured to meet the high demands of advanced piano study.

Students have the opportunity to participate in masterclasses conducted by visiting professors, gaining exposure to diverse artistic perspectives. International students or those residing outside of Singapore are welcome to take consultational lessons via online platforms. Each programme is individually tailored to the learner’s strengths, goals, and artistic direction — with an emphasis on musical excellence and personal growth.

Based on the UK Accrediatation system, for each type of diploma, there are 3 levels of certification:

Associate Level
The standard is equivalent to the end of the 1st year in a full time undergraduate course at a conservatoire or other higher education institution.
Licentiate Level
The standard is equivalent to that of a final year full-time undergraduate course at a conservatoire or other higher education institution.
Fellowship Level
The standard of the dipoloma is equivalent to that of a full-time postgraduate course.

TRINITY COLLEGE LONDON DIPLOMAS IN MUSIC THEORY
Diploma courses in music theory, for private individuals or small group classes leading to the diplomas of the Trinity/Guildhall College of Music. Courses cover all sections of the examination papers, set works and aspects of 20th century developments.
