Diploma Courses
JKPA has a long tradition of diploma successes over the years, with students who excel mainly in performance, scoring exceptional marks in other components of DipABRSM, LRSM and FRSM. We offer a variety of part-time diploma course programmes that prepare students for diploma examinations offered by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and Trinity College London. Students have opportunities to study in masterclasses by visiting professors. International/ foreign students who do not reside in Singapore may take consultational lessons via online formats.

Based on the UK Accrediatation system, for each type of diploma, there are 3 levels of certification:

Associate Level
The standard is equivalent to the end of the 1st year in a full time undergraduate course at a conservatoire or other higher education institution.
Licentiate Level
The standard is equivalent to that of a final year full-time undergraduate course at a conservatoire or other higher education institution.
Fellowship Level
The standard of the dipoloma is equivalent to that of a full-time postgraduate course.

TRINITY COLLEGE LONDON DIPLOMAS IN MUSIC THEORY
Diploma courses in music theory, for private individuals or small group classes leading to the diplomas of the Trinity/Guildhall College of Music. Courses cover all sections of the examination papers, set works and aspects of 20th century developments.
